Hush now, be quiet or you may startle it. It´s the Ferrari Rainbow . And you don´t see it that often. Because this amazing concept car based on the Dino 308 GT4 ended on the cutting-floor of automobile history. Why? Being too early can be as bad a timing as being too late. The wedge-shaped design was a good 10 years ahead of it´s introduction into main stream car design. Simple as that. But Bertone did a great job on the surface and the interior and it´s a shame that this V8/3.0 liter mid-engined Ferrari never became an official Prancing Horse. So feast your eyes now on this Prancing Unicorn! The beautiful photographs were taken by German photographer Rainer Schlegelmilch a.k.a the ‘eye of Formula 1’.
